          Michael Weir - (Director)

        Michael has broad professional experience as a solicitor in private legal practice in commercial and property law. In his academic career Michael has published extensively on Land Law and Planning Law. He is an author of Real Property Law in Queensland, LBC (2nd edition, 2004). Michael has a research interest in Medicine and the Law with a focus on complementary and alternative medicine and law and ethics. This interest is reflected in the student textbook Complementary Medicine: Ethics and Law, Prometheus Publications in 2000 (second edition 2003). Michael is currently Deputy Dean of the Law Faculty.
